Mugen Tournament 3 (MT3 Marvel vs. DC) was a project initially created by The Electron Zone focusing on the rivalry of the Marvel vs. DC Comics using the MUGEN 2D Fighting Gaming Engine. He ran into some speed bumps on the way onto completing the game, in which, Kei offered to help with reoccuring issues.
Pre-Beta[]
The game was planned to have the World Warriors X screenpack, with the original title being World Warriors X Marvel vs. DC, but ran into some serious issues with the screenpack and instead ran with the MUGEN Tournament 3 screenpack. All the stages and chars were picked by members ANB, Vegeta, and Kei. During an IRC chat on #MFG, some members decided on some choiced for the final stages.
Beta[]
The beta was released to volunteered beta-testers Kei, and Vegeta, in which certain bugs were found and restored.
=One of these bugs were the offset icons and portraits which almost put the whole project on standby. Instead, The Electron Zone, used Fighter Factory to fix it. Another bug, was the Batman char, which was immediately replaced by a newer Batman character.
