In a world where humans are the hunted.... Claymore. Claymore is set in a medieval world, where creatures known as Yoma hunt down and feast upon humans in their own towns, then hiding themselves in the encased shell of the humans they have devoured. The only thing to stop them? Claymore's, half-Human, half-Yoma. The main character is a female Claymore called Clare who while fighting against Yoma as part of her job is also fighting to save her humanity and try not to become the beast within. This manga is quite violent for a Shounen, bearing heavy loss of blood/limbs and death being a key factor often within the story.
